I am a recording engineer, mixer, and musician based in Portland, Oregon. I am devoted to helping musicians share their creative visions with others by perfectly tuning the production process to the individual nature of each and every project.

No two recordings are ever exactly alike. Differences in the music being performed, the room and equipment used, and even the mood of the musicians in that particular moment shape a recording’s sonic identity. As an engineer and longtime musician, I believe that every musical endeavor has its own unique soul, and that each project requires a distinct mix of tools and custom-tailored techniques. I embrace the idea of bespoke recordings and mixes because to treat all musical projects as the same is to deny the creators of those projects their individuality. Songwriters and musicians do not see all their creations in the same way, and neither should the people recording or mixing those creations.
